Privacy Policy
How wonderwebhosting.com handles your information
Effective date: October 23, 2026
This policy explains what information wonderwebhosting.com collects when you visit it or contact us through it, why, who else handles it, and the choices you have. We have kept it short and specific to how this site actually works.
Who we are
This website is run by Wonder Web Hosting, a locally owned website hosting service based in Sparks, Nevada (Reno/Sparks area). The site was built by, and is operated together with, Wonder Web Development. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Wonder Web Hosting.
Our website address is https://wonderwebhosting.com. For any privacy question or request, email us at info@wonderwebhosting.com.
This policy covers this website only. If you are a hosting customer, the information we handle to provide your hosting, email, SSL or domain services is covered by your service agreement with us.
What we collect
When you use our contact form
The “Get In Touch” form on our home page asks for:
- your name
- your email address
- your message
When you press Submit, the form sends these details to us by email. We use them only to reply to you and to provide the services you ask about. The website itself does not keep a copy of your message in its database.
To keep spam out, the form also uses:
- Google reCAPTCHA v3. It runs in the background (there is no puzzle to solve) and gives Google information about your visit, such as your IP address, browser details and how you interact with the page, so Google can score whether the sender is a person or a bot. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Our own spam checks. These include a hidden field that people never see but bots fill in, a short-lived security token, and a limit on how many messages can be sent from one connection in ten minutes. To apply that limit, the site briefly stores a scrambled (hashed) code made from your IP address, never the address itself; these entries expire within two hours. When a submission is blocked as spam, or is sent from a different network than the one that loaded the page, the site logs the time, the reason, the page and that same hashed code (never your name, email or message), and keeps only the last 100 such entries.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site, which pages they view and roughly where they come from (for example, a search engine or another site). Google Analytics uses cookies (see below) and collects information such as the pages you visit, the time spent on them, your browser and device type, and your approximate location. We see this as summary reports, not as information about you personally. We have not turned on Google’s advertising features (Google Signals) for this site. You can learn more about how Google uses this data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Security and server logs
Like most websites, our server automatically records basic technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Our security software (Wordfence) also uses IP addresses to block attacks, spam and password-guessing attempts, and records failed login attempts and blocked requests. We use this information only to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted automatically.
Things we do not do
- We do not have user accounts for visitors, comments, newsletters, online payments or a shop on this site.
- We do not use advertising or social media tracking pixels.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Cookies and similar technology
A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser. This site sets or loads the following:
| Name | Set by | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics | Tells visits apart so we can count visitors | Up to 2 years |
_ga_FP7WFHPDHV |
Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current visit for our reports | Up to 2 years |
_GRECAPTCHA (cookie on google.com, plus browser storage) |
Google reCAPTCHA | Helps Google tell people from bots for our contact form | Up to about 6 months |
wwh_consent_choice (plus browser storage) |
This site | Remembers whether you chose OK or Decline on the cookie notice | 1 year |
WordPress, which runs the site, only sets its own cookies for people who log in to manage the site; ordinary visitors do not get them.
Your choice. When you first visit, a notice at the bottom of the page lets you choose. OK keeps Google Analytics on. Decline stops Google Analytics cookies on this site and is remembered in your browser (Google may still receive a basic, cookieless signal that a page was viewed, which does not identify your browser). Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland start with analytics off until they choose OK. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of any advertising use. You can change your answer at any time with Privacy Choices at the bottom of every page.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block Google Analytics, the site still works. If you block reCAPTCHA, the contact form may not be able to send your message; in that case, just email us at info@wonderwebhosting.com.
Content from other websites
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA scripts described above, from Google’s servers. When your browser fetches them, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information, as with any website you visit.
Who we share your information with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only for that purpose:
- Hostinger, which hosts this website and its server logs.
- Google, for Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA and Google Fonts, as described above.
- Our email providers, which deliver and store the messages you send us through the form.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the security of the site. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
How long we keep information
- Messages you send us are kept in our email for as long as we need them to answer you and provide any services you ask for, and for normal business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
- Spam-check entries made from hashed IP addresses expire within two hours; the spam-check log keeps only the last 100 entries.
- Security and server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted automatically.
- Google Analytics data is kept by Google under the retention setting for our account, and the cookies expire as shown above.
How we protect information
The whole site runs over a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS). We keep the website software up to date, use security software to block attacks, and limit access to the site’s administration to our own team. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you,
- correct it, or
- delete it.
Email info@wonderwebhosting.com with your request. We may need to confirm it is really you before we act, and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Nevada residents: Nevada law lets you ask a website operator not to sell certain personal information. We do not sell personal information, but you are welcome to send us a request at the email address above and we will confirm it.
California and other states: Some states give their residents extra privacy rights. Wherever you live, you can make the requests above and we will honor them as the law in your state requires.
Children’s privacy
This site is for businesses and adults looking for website hosting. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The effective date at the top will show when it was last changed.
